Brighton striker Danny Welbeck has addressed speculation over a potential England recall, speaking out amid his impressive form for the club this season.

The 34-year-old has been in remarkable form since the start of the season, scoring six goals in his ten Premier League appearances so far.

As a result, rumours are swirling that England boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to give Welbeck his first international call-up since 2018 for the November international break.

Welbeck, who scored the opener in their 3-0 win over Leeds on Saturday (November 1), insists he remains focussed on continuing his fine club form amid the rumours.
