Iraola delivers update on Bournemouth contract talks

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola insists new contract talks are yet to commence.

Iraola says his situation wasn't discussed during club owner Bill Foley's trip to the UK last week.

Iraola said: “Yes, we had lunch at some of the trainings, because he came to see a lot of our trainings and now we have here space to be together and we were chatting.

“Talking about a lot of different things. Not specifically just the contract that you will ask me about or whatever, about a lot of things.”

When asked about contract talks, he continued: “No, we didn't have, if you want, a proper meeting in an office. No. We talk every day. We talk with Simon (Francis), with Tiago (Pinto), with Bill, even via message.

“So we know each other and we will have time to talk whenever we decide.”0
