Guardiola confirms Haaland is available as he debates whether the top 6 still exists

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken to the media ahead of this weekend's clash with Bournemouth.

City are on a four-game winning run at the Etihad in all tournaments, scoring 12 goals and conceding just one in the process as Guardiola leads his side up the table to face second place Bournemouth.0

Guardiola first spoke on Phil Foden nearing his 200th appearance in what is an impressive achievement.0

"It's an honour for me to see his impact, it's a good milestone at his age.0

"A question for Thomas (Tuchel). He has to play good every day and then Thomas will decide."0

There have been doubts about star striker Erling Haaland this week and whether he would be fit enough to start the game, Guardiola quickly cleared up those rumours with his team news.

"Yes (Haaland is fit).

"Hopefully he (Rodri) can be with us. Everyone is desperate to play."

He next moved on Antoine Semenyo who has been one of the league’s greatest talents this season, scoring 6 goals and bagging 3 goals so far.0

"The way Bournemouth play suits him perfectly. He's an extraordinary player."0

The media then asked about the top 6 and if it still exists given the quality of the Premier League over the past few years.0

"I remember when I was in Barcelona and Bayern Munich, everyone can beat everyone.

"Maybe City and Liveprool change that dynamic getting near 100 points but it's good other teams can be up there. Sometimes there is not a dominant team. Everyone can beat everyone, it's good for the spectators."0

Finally, he opened up about Foden and Rayan Cherki potentially playing alongside eachother in what would be an interesting experiment.

"It's a real option to play them together. I will not be the one to say I don't like these kind of players, but you have to realise what it is like to play in the Premier League with the physicality. We need to get the balance.

"We saw it against Villa, we were not solid enough to sustain it. They will learn."
