Levante sensation Eyong wants January decision as Barcelona, Man City and Man Utd circle

Levante striker Etta Eyong wants to settle his future in January.

The Cameroon international has been a revelation for Levante after leaving Villarreal at the start of the season.

His form has brought him to the attention of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea, along with LaLiga giants Barcelona.

Mundo Deportivo says Eyong's plan is to settle his future in the upcoming January transfer window and not wait until the summer. His intention is for any team that signs him to finalise his transfer during the winter transfer window, and, given that he has already played for two different teams this season and cannot play for a third due to regulations, to remain on loan at Levante until June.

Bar7a, who already tried to sign him last summer but couldn't complete the transfer due to Financial Fair Play, will have to wait to see if LaLiga reinstates the 1:1 rule in January, at which point they can proceed with the signing.

Otherwise, there is every chance Eyong slips through Barca's fingers and ends up committing to a Premier League club.
