WAG Annie Kilner faces trial next year after allegedly being caught speeding in her Land Rover.

Kilner – wife of Burnley FC footballer Kyle Walker – is accused of driving at 64mph on a 50mph road on May 18 close to Manchester airport.

The mum of four was not present at Crewe magistrates for the hearing today but was represented by barrister Nick Ross.

He told magistrates Kilner, 33, denied the offence and called for it to be thrown out on the grounds that there were “gaps and failings” in the prosecution’s case.

Timothy Handley, chairman of the bench, told the court that Ms Kilner’s Land Rover was recorded travelling at 64mph.

Mr Handley adjourned the case until March 17 next year when a trial will take place at Chester Magistrates’ Court.

If convicted of the latest speeding charge, Kilner who lives in Prestbury, Cheshire, faces being banned from driving under the totting up procedure.

In March, Kilner was ordered to pay £677 in fines and costs and handed three penalty points after she admitted holding her phone while behind the wheel.

The mum had been spotted by a patrol cop on June 8, 2024, holding her phone while at the wheel of her Mercedes EQV 300 in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

She already had six points on her licence, so now has nine in total.

Walker, 35, has four children with Kilner and two more with model and influencer Lauryn Goodman.

He moved to Turf Moor in the summer after spending eight years at Manchester City, where he won the Premier League and the Champions League.
