Jorginho’s stunning wife, Catherine Harding, pranked the former Premier League star with a bizarre smelly underwear prank.

The ex-Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder has been enjoying life away from the pitch with his energetic wife. Catherine loves sharing a laugh with the 33-year-old midfielder, and following her latest prank, it appears he can happily take a joke.

Catherine’s latest post to her near 100,000 followers started in confusing fashion as the singer opened up a tin of sardines before pulling out her trousers and rubbing the juice on her underwear.

After it became apparent what she was up to, the video then became a lot easier to explain, as she was joined in on the joke by daughter, Ada.

With the hook of the prank in place, Catherine gave the smell of the sardines a whiff herself and started gagging, before she set Jorginho up to star in a social media video of the two attempting some acrobatic lifts.

Jorginho kept a brave face despite the odd smell

Catherine started with a handstand up against Jorginho, wrapping her legs around his shoulders before attempting to pull herself up to sit on the shoulders of the midfielder, right where the sardine smell should have been at its most potent.

All credit to Jorginho, he didn’t appear to bat an eyelid despite him likely fighting for his life not to react. It took until Catherine revealed the prank before he admitted to a funky smell, as he exclaimed: “Oh baby I’m dying” when she asked him to smell her trousers again.

One fan in the comments section lauded: “How sweet that he didn't want to tell you, he's so polite.”

Catherine has been dating the former Chelsea star since 2020, after he split from his wife of eight years, Natalia Leteri. And the pair married in a stylish ceremony in Italy in June.

The 33-year-old singer, who appeared on talent show The Voice in 2020 under the stage name Cat Cavelli, was previously in a short-term relationship with Hollywood actor Jude Law.

Catherine was 23 when she began dating Jude, then 41, when he was filming in the Czech Republic in 2014. Their relationship didn’t last long, but saw Catherine fall pregnant.

Speaking about their romance, she said: "We met at a bar in Soho and hit it off. I didn't plan to have a baby. It just happened. It's so exciting being a mum."

Catherine has described Jude as a “great dad” but Jorginho has also become a father figure to their child, with daughter Ada referring to Jorginho as “dad” in Amazon Prime's docuseries Married To The Game.

They also have a baby together, son Jax, who was born in 2021. The couple and their family have since relocated to Brazil when Jorginho joined Rio de Janeiro-based club Flamengo in the summer.
