David Moyes admits Everton will likely be his last job: You never know how football goes!

Everton manager David Moyes has opened up about his future as his long career comes to a close.

Moyes stepped down as West Ham manager by mutual consent in May 2024 in a move that many believed would be his last. However, the 62-year-old is still going strong and now finds himself in Merseyside at Everton.0

Everton have had a very good start to the season as they sit 8th in the Premier League table, a huge improvement under Moyes since he took over from Sean Dyche as he proves he has still got what it takes to manage a top side.0

Now, speaking to PLZ Soccer, he revealed that he thinks the Everton job will be his last, but even he doesn’t know what will happen in the future.0

“I would probably say yes (Everton is my last job), but you never know how football goes. I actually thought West Ham was my last job, and also because I won a trophy, but I tell you what, I got a bug for maybe doing it again,” Moyes continued.0

“The thought that I could maybe put another medal around my dad’s neck would be something special, so I’ve got to keep believing that’s a chance and hopefully somewhere down the line that will come around.”0

Everton return to Premier League action to face Manchester City this weekend as they aim to build on their recent triumph against Crystal Palace. Moyes will be on the sidelines once again and after his recent comments fans may cherish that more in what could be his last season at the club.0
