Froholdt assures Porto fans amid Atletico Madrid interest

Victor Froholdt has assured Porto fans of his commitment.

The young midfielder, 19, only joined Porto in the summer from FC Copenhagen.

However, he is attracting interest from Atletico Madrid, which are eyeing Froholdt as a January target.

But Froholdt said: "I'm not even thinking about it. I'm incredibly happy to be part of FC Porto and the city, and I feel the support of the fans.

"I've had a fantastic reception and I'm grateful for that. I have to do everything possible to fight for the Portuguese championship and also to have the same success in the Europa League.

"So a transfer is something that's a long way off. I'm focused on giving everything in every game."
