Football presenter Laura Woods’ eye-watering contract at TNT Sports has emerged.

The 38-year-old, who returned to screens in April following the birth of her first child with former Love Island star Adam Collard, enjoyed a lucrative year after joining TNT Sports from talkSPORT.

Her accounts have reportedly been revealed to show that her wealth increased from £635,000 to £1.5million from January to December 2024. Paperwork from her company, The Pig and I Limited, established in 2014, also reveals her assets exceed £1m.

According to The Sun, Woods now earns £800,000-per-year on her new terms, up from £250,000 she annually earned from her previous employers at talkSPORT.

The report says that her assets include £1.2m in the bank, with her shelling out £300,000 in tax while only paying herself a dividend of just £1,000.

Woods’ return to the screen has also coincided with her undertaking prestigious hosting duties as she appeared at a sports award ceremony last month wearing a stunning see-through black dress.

On hosting duties alongside James Corden, Woods had a one-on-one interview with Usain Bolt on stage in front of the guests. While she also spoke to a panel consisting of Anthony Joshua, Chris Froome and Mika Hakkinen.

Woods returned to Champions League action in September as Europe’s top club competition returned with some blockbuster fixtures on the opening matchday.

However, one incident at St James’ Park before Newcastle's defeat to Barcelona saw her have to dodge out of the way of a wayward ball that was heading her way.

Taking avoiding action from the ball, Woods instead hit her head on the microphone of former Magpies goalkeeper Shay Given, who, in attempting to deflect the ball away from them, accidentally caught the presenter on the back of her head.

Thankfully the pair were able to laugh about the situation, alongside Joe Cole, but for the Toon, that’s where the enjoyment stopped as Newcastle were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona thanks to a stunning Marcus Rashford brace.

Woods then left her presenting colleagues in laughter again just weeks later after a hilarious slip of tongue after Liverpool’s comeback Champions League victory against Atletico Madrid at Anfield.

She had been leading the post-game discussion when she said: "Diego Simeone, obviously quite a fiery character, he got himself sent off after the winner from Virgin...Virgil van Dijk."

The TNT Sports presenter quickly realised her mistake and let out a small chuckle as she tried to regain her composure. Her slip-up was also noticed by Michael Owen and Steve McManaman - who could be heard sniggering in the background.
