Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Approached by Rangers After Michael Carrick Links
Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been approached by Rangers about their managerial vacancy, just days after his former assistant Michael Carrick was linked with the job.
Rangers parted ways with former Southampton boss Russell Martin following a 1-1 draw with Falkrik, with the Glasgow side sitting down in eighth.
League winning manager Steven Gerrard has already turned the chance to rejoin the club down and Rangers have now turned to the former Man United boss, according to The Sun.
The report adds that they’ve approached former Mainz manager Bo Svensson alongside Solskjaer, 52, who has been out of a job since leaving Besiktas in August.
Solskjaer’s former assistant Carrick has also been linked with the Rangers job, according to the Daily Mail, although no formal approach has been made.
