‘At least two more weeks’ - Monaco Confirm Paul Pogba Return Delay

Monaco have confirmed that Paul Pogba’s return to action will be delayed by at least two more weeks.

The 32-year-old joined the Ligue 1 side as a free transfer in the summer following a lengthy doping ban and subsequent release from Juventus.

Pogba is yet to feature for Monaco as he continues his journey to return to full fitness, with club CEO Thiago Scuro confirming it’s still going to be another could of weeks.

Speaking to Get Football News France, Scuro said: “We expected him to be available for the next match.”

“That is no longer the case. Paul had a small problem last week that will cost us at least two more weeks. It is the first negative episode that we have had since we started the process with him.0

“Given how long he has been out of activity, it can happen. It isn’t the end of the world; we have just postponed for two weeks to prepare him better. We hope to have him available soon.”
