Gonzalo insists no regrets over Real Madrid stay

Gonzalo Garcia insists he has no regrets staying with Real Madrid this season.

Offered the chance to spend the year away on-loan, the young striker chose to remain with Real for the campaign.

However, Gonzalo has so far seen just 101 minutes of action thus far.

But the centre-forward says: "My only option was always to stay at Real Madrid. For me, it's a dream to be part of the first team and I'm very happy with the decision I made.

"Competition? We're talking about the best club in the world and obviously the competition is intense because the best players are always here.

"But I've been in the youth academy for many years, I've been a Real Madrid fan since I was little and the truth is I don't regret the decision I made."
