Marinakis 'Will Not Hesitate' to Sack Postecoglou if Forest Results Don’t Improve
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis reportedly 'will not hesitate' to sack manager Ange Postecoglou if results and performances don't improve quickly.
Postecoglou, 60, was hired to replace the much-loved Nuno Espirito Santo after the Portuguese coach had a falling out with Marinakis.
The former Tottenham boss has struggled since joining and is yet to win a game as Forest Manager, losing four and drawing two of his six games at the helm.
Now, according to Sky Sports, Marinakis has demanded that things improve quicky, and ‘will not hesitate’ in sacking his friend if they don’t.
It’s understood that Postecoglou does retain the immediate backing from the Forest board as they prepare for a trip to St James’ Park on Sunday (October 5).
A defeat would also make Postecoglou the first permanent head coach since 1960 to go winless in his first four league games at the club.
