Man United Join Man City in Race to Sign Bayern Munich Wonderkid

Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign a Bayern Munich wonderkid Aleksandar Pavlovic, joining local rivals Manchester City in pursuit of the talented youngster.

The 21-year-old is set to enter the final 18-months of his contract at Bayern Munich with talks over a new deal at his boyhood club yet to begin.

According to German outlet BILD, Pavlovic’s fine form has earned him interest from across Europe, with the two Manchester clubs particularly keen.

United are understood to be desperate to sign a new midfielder after failing in their short-lived pursuit of Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.

Pep Guardiola’s side are showing the strongest interest, however, as they prepare for life without Ballon d’Or winner Rodri.

The Spaniard is also entering the final 18-months of his contract and City see Pavlovic as a potential replacement.
