Chelsea target another wonderkid ahead of January transfer window
According to The Sun, Chelsea are pursuing the signature of Nigerian wonderkid Abduljelil Kamaldeen. The 16-year-old is currently representing his country at the U20 World Cup in Chile. Kamaldeen flashed his potential during a brief cameo in the Flying Eagles' 1-0 defeat against Norway on Monday; he is expected to start in Nigeria's next group stage game against Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
Premier League return among Werner's options
According to Sport Bild, RB Leipzig have no plans to extend Timo Werner's contract, which runs until June 2026, and would prefer to sell him in January, even if it means accepting a cut-price fee. His €10 million-a-year wages remain a major issue, as he is the club's top earner.
Amid the uncertainty over Werner's future, Leipzig's sister club New York Red Bulls are once again being tipped as a potential destination after showing interest in the summer. But the striker won't be short of options. He is open to staying in the Bundesliga or testing himself again in England, France, or Spain, with a Premier League return very much on the table.

A number of top European clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea, City and Paris Saint-Germain, are showing increasing interest in Michael Olise. They are allegedly even "more than willing" to pay €100 million (£87m/$118m) for the winger next summer.
Deco reveals why Fermin did not leave Barca in the summer
Barcelona sporting director Deco has opened up on Fermin Lopez's transfer away from the club that did not materialise in the summer transfer window.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Deco said: "We didn't want to sell Fermín, easy answer. Selling Fermín means weaken the squad. The only way was if Fermín asked us to leave the club, and it never happened. So we are very happy."

Malacia returns to United first team training
