The British-American commentator tried to have a custard cream biscuit.

But then she suddenly came on air and with barely enough time to react she quickly put her hand behind her back.

Schecter tweeted: "A few people have messaged asking why I was awkwardly holding my hand behind my back…

"I indeed was eating a custard cream biscuit when we came on air quickly."

Schecter laughed it off with a hilarious hashtag, which read: "#FeedPheebs."

Viewers were left laughing their socks off as they took to social media to back the NFL analyst.

One fan tweeted: "Absolutely superb."

Another commented: "I can't tell you how much I love that."

A third wrote: "You should have dunked it, into a builders brew. That would have been great television!"

This fan said: "A fine choice of biscuit and a fine reason to hide your hand."
