Bayern's Eberl reveals Kane's contract plans: Beyond 2027 is absolutely conceivable

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has opened up on striker Harry Kane and his future at the club.

Kane scored his 100th goal for Bayern Munich in just his 104th appearance for the club on Friday night as the Bundesliga champions ripped apart Werder Bremen.0

The Bayern Munich talisman already has a frankly ridiculous 15 goals in eight games this season as he makes it clear that he is loving life abroad after making the move away from North London where he grew up.0

Sporting director Eberl was asked about Kane’s long-term future and revealed that he would love him to stay at the club as they prepare contract discussions.0

“A collaboration beyond 2027 is absolutely conceivable,” he said. “That’s why we will discuss the next steps with him in a relaxed manner.

He’s an absolute leader, it would be awesome to win titles with him, and he said that too. We want to do that with him for a long time to come.”0

Kane’s recently admitted he was “really happy” in Munich and could be open to staying beyond 2027 as Bayern continue to win trophies, something the England captain move to the club specifically for.0

Spurs manager Thomas Frank recently spoke on Kane as he heaped praise on the striker's performances at both Tottenham and Bayern which only spiked transfer rumours which could be shut down with a new contract.0

"Top player. I think there's a lot of Tottenham fans, including myself, who would like to see Kane back.0

"Personally, I don't think he will do it right now if I'm honest. He'll probably stay in Bayern and continue performing well.0
