Al-Nassr defender Martinez offers brutal reasons for Barcelona exit
Al-Nassr defender Inigo Martinez has explained leaving Barcelona.
The veteran defender left for Al-Nassr at the beginning of this month.
The 34 year-old said: "It was time to make room for others, and I'm continuing with my football, with my ideas, and enjoying another country.
"The pace is getting faster and faster, and giving 50 percent isn't enough, because it always has to be the maximum. The demands are extreme, and you push yourself to the limit.
"A lot of time on the road, a lot of travel, and I think it was time to take a step back."
