Benfica coach Jose Mourinho admits he's happy knowing Cole Palmer is out for Chelsea ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge this week.
Mourinho takes Benfica back to Chelsea for their second Champions League group game.
And with Palmer out for 2-3 weeks due to injury, the former Blues manager stated: “I’m happy with that. He’s a phenomenal player.
“But I think they have a good team, in a way that if Cole Palmer doesn't play, it's not a problem for them.”
Chelsea expect Palmer to be missing beyond next month’s international break with England due to a persistent groin injury.
