Estranged wife of Man Utd ace Matthijs De Ligt ramps up ‘spiritual lifestyle’ despite rumours it led to marriage ending

MATTHIJS de Ligt's estranged wife has ramped up her spiritual lifestyle despite reports it led to the breakdown of their marriage.

AnneKee de Ligt is still legally married to the Manchester United star.

But their relationship is widely reported to have hit a rocky patch in recent months.

De Ligt, 26, is said to have grown tired over his wife's exaggerated "spiriwiri-content", according to Realityfbi.

While there have been claims their marriage is over.

The pair wed last year and were set to celebrate their nuptials in the summer.

But the party was abruptly cancelled, per Dutch outlet DenD, and De Ligt jetted off to Barbados without AnneKee, 26, after spending a week alone in Ibiza.

The same outlet reported tension had grown between the pair as a result of Annekee's lifestyle.

Annekee runs an alchemy brand and is in touch with her spiritual side - her Instagram is filled with photos of crystals, tarot cards, and self-affirming quotations.

This week she shared a quote that read: "Sometimes the universe takes you on a journey you didn't know you needed, to bring you everything you wanted. Trust the plan."

She recently launched a podcast titled 'Annie's Alchemia', where she talks all things spiritual.

One post revealed AnneKee went on her first cacao ceremony, which consists of drinking ceremonial-grade cacao to nourish the heart and mind.

De Ligt has not featured on her feed for months, nor has she on his.

AnneKee was into spiritual practices before she met De Ligt.
