Al-Hilal offered to TRIPLE Ausilio's Inter Milan salary
Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio has rejected an approach from Al-Hilal.
Tuttosport says Al-Hilal, with Simone Inzaghi as coach, wanted to reunite the dream duo and secure Ausilio's "yes" with an enticing €10 million offer and a three-year contract (until 2028).
The response? The Lombard executive declined the invitation, even with former Inter coach Inzaghi now with the Saudis.
He would have TRIPLED his Inter salary if he'd accepted the Al-Hilal proposal.
Ausilio ultimately chose to continue his commitment to the Nerazzurri, which has now lasted over 15 years.
