Meet the jaw-dropping Arsenal and Man City WAGs cheering on Premier League title rivals

Arsenal and Manchester City clash on Sunday in a game that is already looking crucial to both teams’ Premier League title aspirations.

After the Gunners battered City 5-1 at the Emirates in February, Pep Guardiola’s side have a lot to prove. They will be buoyed by thrashing neighbours Manchester United last weekend, but that's no great feat these days, and, after losing twice already this season, the former champions must improve.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal meanwhile are desperate to finally land some major silverware and while they have won three out of four games so far this term, they lost the big one to Liverpool and were criticised afterwards for an overly-negative approach at Anfield. Both clubs find themselves adrift of the champions already after the Reds beat Everton in the Merseyside Derby to move six points clear of the Gunners and nine clear of City.

A potentially pivotal game in the title race already sees both sets of players under pressure, and the stars will be relying on the support of their better halves ahead of the clash. Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at the jaw-dropping partners set to stun in the stands and cheer on their men.

Bukayo Saka - Tolami Benson

Bukayo Saka has tried his best to keep the details of his relationship private, but Tolami Benson has been spotted at Arsenal and England's fixtures, including the World Cup and Euros. Benson boasts over 200,000 Instagram followers and is seen regularly uploading snaps in various luxurious locations. Saka is only fit enough to start on the bench against City.

Isabel Haugseng Johansen - Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland's partner Isabel Haugseng Johansen is also a footballer, the pair met at Byrne's youth academy. However, didn't start dating until Haaland's rise to footballing fame in recent years.

The Norwegian has certainly proved he can score both on and off the field - he's got off to a flying start this season and is the current top scorer with five goals in just four games.

Helene Spilling - Martin Odegaard

Although her partner is sidelined for the clash after missing the midweek Champions League win, the Norwegian Helen Spilling will be cheering on the Gunners, no doubt.

By trade, she is a professional dancer and will be hoping to dance with joy later this afternoon, rather than having to lift the spirits of the injured Arsenal captain.

Inez Tomaz and Bernardo Silva met before the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020 and the City midfielder and model have been loved up ever since.

They stayed together during lockdown, in Silva's native Portugal, but they now live in Manchester with their French bulldog - who he named after John Stones.

Laura Hilven - Leandro Trossard

Laura Hilven has accompanied her man throughout his career including his high-profile move from Brighton to the Gunners.

The couple have two sons and met in 2014. Hilven boasts nearly 30,000 Instagram followers and is regularly seen posting photographs of her family on holiday.
