William Saliba Requests Urgent Meeting with Arsenal Amid Real Madrid Interest

William Saliba has reportedly requested an urgent meeting with Arsenal as Real Madrid step up their interest in signing the French defender as a free agent.

Arsenal have made tying the 24-year-old down to a new long-term deal a priority now that the summer transfer window has slammed shut.

Saliba’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2027 with Real Madrid keeping a close eye on the defender’s situation.

According to Diario AS, the Spanish giants are preparing for life without Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba, who are both expected to leave the club next summer.

It’s understood they see Saliba as the perfect partner for Dean Huijsen, who joined from Premier League side Bournemouth.
