Slaven Bilic Could Make Sensational West Ham Return as Graham Potter’s Future in Doubt

West Ham are reportedly considering a shock return for former manager Slaven Bilic following a disappointing defeat to Crystal Palace.

The East London club suffered their fourth defeat in their opening five Premier League games at the hands of Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the opener for Palace only for West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen to bag the equaliser just after the break.

Tyrick Mitchell scored the winner shortly after, however, increasing the pressure on Potter with West Ham sitting all the way down in 18th.

According to a report from BBC, Potter’s job is now under serious threat after racking up just six wins in 25 games since succeeding Julen Lopetegui.

The report adds that former manager Slaven Bilic's name has been discussed internally as they come up with a shortlist of potential replacements.

Bilic enjoyed immense success during his first season at the club, achieving their highest-ever points total (62) at the time, most goals scored in a single season (65), and a positive goal difference for the first time.
