Man Utd Consider Kobbie Mainoo Plus Cash in Bid for Real Madrid Star

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a sensational offer that includes Kobbie Mainoo plus cash in pursuit of a Real Madrid star Federico Valverde.

The 20-year-old has struggled to adapt to life under Ruben Amorim and even went as far as to request a loan away from Old Trafford late in the summer transfer window.

United remain desperate to improve their midfield and enquired about a deal for Brighton’s Carlos Baleba but were put off by their 3100 million+ asking price.

Now, according to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, United have turned their attention to Real Madrid star Valverde, 27.

The report states that Man United would be willing to offer Mainoo and a fee of around €50 million for the highly rated midfielder.

It’s understood that Real Madrid are reluctant to sanction such a deal any time soon as they see Valverde as a key player.
