Benfica presidential candidate Carvalho: I want Klopp here

Benfica presidential candidate Cristov3o Carvalho has declared he wants to hire Jurgen Klopp as new coach.

Should he win, Carvalho plans to axe current coach Bruno Lage and replace him with former Liverpool manager Klopp.

Klopp is currently global football director at Red Bull.

"With me, Bruno Lage will not stay longer than the current contract (which expires after the season). I need a coach at the highest level, who has already won the Champions League and who wants to win the Champions League with Benfica," he told SIC Noticias.

"There is only one name that comes to mind: JFCrgen Klopp. He even said that Benfica is a great club that he would like to practice one day. Someone who says this has more to do with the club than others."
