Premier League Duo Man United and Liverpool Compete to Sign 17-Year-Old Barcelona Wonderkid

Premier League giants Man United and Liverpool are reportedly in the race to sign a highly regarded Barcelona wonderkid.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Man United are the most interested Premier League club in 17-year-old Pedro (Dro) Fernandez.

Fernandez is widely viewed as the next superstar to come out of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy and is said to be inching closer to making his first-team debut.

Ruben Amorim’s side won’t have a free run at the attacking midfielder, with Liverpool, Man City, and Chelsea all keen on bringing him to England.

The youngster was a member of Barcelona’s squad for their tour of Asia, scoring the final goal in their 3-1 win over Japanese side Vissel Kobe.
