Man City Targeted Bradley Barcola as Potential Replacement if Savinho Moves to Tottenham

Man City reportedly considered a move for Lyon’s Bradley Barcola as a potential replacement Savinho, who was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.

Tottenham made two offers for Savinho during the summer transfer window but were rebuffed by Man City on both occasions.

Pep Guardiola’s side were adamant the Brazilian wouldn’t be sold for less than their 367 million valuation, despite his reported wish to leave.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, City were still preparing for life without Savinho, and were keen on signing Barcola, 23, as a replacement.

Barcola was the subject of interest from several clubs across Europe, with Liverpool and Bayern Munich among them.
