Chelsea join PL rivals in the race for Barcelona prodigy Dro

Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing the Barcelona youth midfielder Dro Fernandez.

'Fabregas said I was perfect' - Como star Ramon explains Real Madrid exit

Jacobo Ramon has revealed Cesc Fabregas’ influence convinced him to join Como from Real Madrid and feels he is in the "perfect" environment.

Ramon joined Como from Real Madrid in the summer for €2.5 million after a call from coach Fabregas convinced him the club was the ideal place to continue his career. While Fabregas influenced his move, compatriots Nico Paz and Assane Diao have helped him settle in Italy.

Dumfries reveals Premier League ambition after Man City links

Inter star Denzel Dumfries says he is open to a Premier League switch, with Manchester City reportedly interested in signing the right-back.

"I'm happy at Inter, but I'd like to play in the Premier League. I could see myself in England," the Dutchman said. "The Premier League is a fantastic league, and I think I could perform at my best there too. If a professional opportunity arose, I'd be interested."

Leverkusen appoint Hjulmand as Ten Hag's replacement

Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the appointment of former Denmark boss Kasper Hjulmand as their new head coach, who replaced Erik ten Hag at the helm.

The official statement from the club read: "Kasper Hjulmand signs on as the new head coach for Bayer 04. Warm welcome to Leverkusen, Coach!"

PSG enter contract talks with Barcola

Paris Saint-Germain are seeking to extend Bradley Barcola's contract with the club until 2030 and hope to reach an agreement in the coming months.

After playing a key role in PSG's Ligue 1 and Champions League success last season, the club fought off interest from Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Chelsea in the summer to ensure he remains a key part of Luis Enrique's project in the French capital. The Parisians don't want to be caught off-guard by offers from other clubs and have thus started negotiations with the player's representatives in hopes of reaching an agreement in the coming months. PSG aim to tie the player to a deal that runs until 2030.

AC Milan wantaway midfielder close to €8m Saudi switch

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Al-Shabab will offer Yacine Adli a €7 million (£6m/$8m) salary and sign him permanently for €8m (£7m/$9m), a deal that satisfies Milan and beats competition from Serie A side Sassuolo.

Three favourites to sign Dele on free transfer revealed

Dele Alli could be heading back to British football following his release by Como, with three teams said to have shown interest, according to The Daily Mail.

The Mail claims: “Birmingham City, Wrexham, and West Brom have emerged as the favourites in the beauty contest to sign Alli. The first two offer the tantalising appeal of glitz and glamour. Birmingham, partly fuelled by the cash and interference of NFL legend Tom Brady, have made a strong start to life in the Championship. Wrexham, their fellow promotees from League One, have the Hollywood draw of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney - did anybody mention? - and splashed £33 million on medium-to-big-name Championship signings this summer."

Early Man Utd return for Rashford rubbished

Rumours of Barcelona terminating Marcus Rashford’s loan deal and sending him back to Manchester United have been branded "complete bullsh*t".

Fabrizio Romano has told his YouTube channel: “I don’t know where this story is coming from, to be honest I think it’s really a shame to see these kind of rumours. There’s absolutely zero into it. Barcelona are very happy with Rashford, very happy with the deal they did. It’s a loan with a buy option so for Barca even financially it’s not a big problem. They’re very happy with the attitude of Marcus Rashford. They are waiting obviously for Marcus to adapt, new football, new league, new city, new team-mates, after spending a lot of time always in the same country. So for Rashford it’s a big opportunity, he knows that. But they are completely aligned. They are starting this new chapter with optimism and confidence. So at the moment these reports of Barcelona terminating the loan deal early for Rashford is complete bullsh*t. There’s nothing at all in it."

Ex-PSV star reveals reaction to Saudi offer

Former PSV full-back Matteo Dams revealed that Al-Ahli’s strong push and financial incentives convinced him to make the move to Saudi Arabia.

Dams completed a €10 million (£9m/$11m) move from PSV to Al-Ahli in January, with his salary receiving a massive boost in the process. The full-back was in the final six months of his PSV contract and negotiating an extension when Al-Ahli swooped in to seal the deal.

Revealed: How Liverpool beat Newcastle to £79m Ekitike

An agent has revealed how Liverpool were able to snatch Hugo Ekitike from under the noses of Newcastle, with a £79 million ($107m) deal pushed through.

Ali Barat, who was working on Ekitike's move, has told Tuttosport when asked if there was a deal that left him frustrated during the last window: “Hugo Ekitike. I was working on behalf of Eintracht Frankfurt to bring him to Newcastle. I stayed in Germany for 10 days. We agreed everything with the German club and the player, then Liverpool called him and he chose Anfield.”

Liverpool unlikely to chase Guehi in January

According to The Times, Liverpool will not revisit their interest in Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi in the January transfer window. The Reds were close to signing the English defender this summer but the move collapsed at the eleventh hour on deadline day.  Instead, the Premier League champions will now go after Guehi next summer when he becomes a free agent.

Konate reveals Mbappe is trying to broker his Liverpool exit

Ibrahima Konate has jokingly claimed that Kylian Mbappe calls him frequently to convince him to follow in Trent Alexander-Arnold's footsteps and join Real Madrid next summer.

Galatasaray’s late Calhanoglu move collapses over €45m Inter demand

Galatasaray coach Buruk has confirmed the club made a final attempt to sign Calhanoglu last week, only for Inter to reject the approach, according to a report from Gazzetta. The Turkish giants were told they would have to pay up to €45 million (£39/$54m) to land the midfielder, a figure they could not meet. Buruk revealed that Calhanoglu, a boyhood Galatasaray fan, was willing to accept a salary reduction to facilitate the transfer.

Forgotten England star Oxlade-Chamberlain linked with Birmingham

Marcus Rashford’s Barcelona future has been thrown into doubt by reports suggesting the club want to cut short his loan and send him back to Manchester United – but respected journalist Guillem Balague has now dismissed those claims. The England forward, who moved to Barca after falling out of favour at Old Trafford, has made a slow start to life in Spain amid strong competition for places in Hansi Flick's attack.

Rashford has managed three La Liga appearances so far, but only one start, against Levante, where he was substituted at half-time. Reports from El Nacional have claimed Barca chiefs see him as “shy, imprecise and lost” and have been weighing up an early termination of his loan. Such a move would reportedly cost Barcelona around £4 million; however, Balague has now rubbished the reports.

Forgotten England star Oxlade-Chamberlain linked with Birmingham

Former England star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be in line to make a shock move to Birmingham City.

The former Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder is currently without a club after leaving Besiktas and has emerged as a target for the Tom Brady-backed Championship club. Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has seven goals in 35 England caps, would prove quite the coup for the high-spending Blues. According to Football Insider, both Birmingham and Leeds could make a move for the out-of-contract player.
