Liverpool defender Konate: Mbappe always calling me about Real Madrid
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has joked about rumours of interest from Real Madrid.
Inside the final year of his Reds deal, Konate is said to be a pre-contract target for Real Madrid.
Currently away with France, Konate says Kylian Mbappe is always calling about joining him at Real Madrid.
At his France media conference, the defender laughed: "He (Mbappe) calls me every two hours!"
However, Konate quickly moved on from the topic, knowing the situation has left many at Liverpool frustrated.
