Barcelona are reportedly seeking Harry Kane as an ‘ideal option’ to replace Robert Lewandowski, aiming for a cut-price deal to secure the England striker.

Lewandowski’s contract with Barcelona is set to expire at the end of the season and the La Liga side are preparing for life without the 37-year-old.

According to Catalan outlet El Nacional, Kane, 32, has emerged as Barcelona’s top target to replace Lewandowski, largely due to the affordability.

The report adds that Hansi Flick’s side believe Bayern Munich would be willing to sell the England international for €40-50 million.0

Kane’s market value is expected to drop next summer as he will only have one-year remaining on his Bayern Munich deal.
