Fenerbahce Add Former Italy and AC Milan Bosses to Jose Mourinho Replacement Shortlist

Fenerbahce have drawn up a shortlist of candidates to replace Jose Mourinho, with a former Italy manager and an ex-AC Milan boss among the names reportedly under consideration.

Mourinho, 55, was dismissed by the Turkish giants in late August after they failed to qualify for the Champions League league phase thanks to a 1-0 aggregate defeat to Benfica.

Fenerbahce have wasted no time in looking for a successor with former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou under consideration.

Now, according to Calciomercato, Luciano Spalletti and Sergio Conceicao have also been added to their shortlist.

Spalletti has been out of a job since he left the Italy national team back in June and is understood to be the board’s favourite.

Conceicao, on the other hand, had a torrid time at AC Milan but has already been endorsed by Sadettin Saran, one of the leading presidential hopefuls.
