Stunning Champions League presenter Evan Murati put a social media troll in their place after an ill-informed comment.
Murati, who was been dubbed the 'Albanian Laura Woods' has appeared on TV screens since 2017, and has returned this year on Vizion Plus and Tring TV, anchoring the broadcast for UEFA's top-tier European competition.
The 30-year-old has amassed a following of 1.3million on Instagram and posted a video of her wearing a short, low-cut black dress running her viewers through the upcoming Champions League qualifiers before blowing a kissing to the camera.
Murati has had to deal with plenty of naysayers during her time covering football, with fans often questioning her validity in the role.
On her latest post, one user moaned: "Does she know anything about football?" With another venting: "Games gone" amid comments about her appearance over her presenting.
Another naïve fan in the comments section suggested that she has got her platform through her looks rather than credentials, sarcastically saying: "I'm sure she studied football journalism her whole life."
To which Murati put them in their place, firing back: "Actually I have a degree and master in Law and this is my 10th year in the Champions League."
Another fan lauded her response by quipping: "Also a degree in shooting down comments."
A second joked: "You just had to put it in its place, not annihilate it." A third mocked: "How ignorant can you possibly get. Stupid comment." While another added: "Pahaha great reply."
Murati recently took to her TikTok page, where she posed in lingerie as a model for the brand Yamamay, to hit out at'bullies'.
She wrote: "I started working on TV at 17 years old, got bullied by haters online and had to learn to validate myself.
"Stopped seeking external approval and found strength in internal validation. Now your words mean nothing to me."
She added: "Unfortunately, unlike male public figures, women are bullied for trivial things like the way they did their makeup, their hair, the outfit they chose and other things that have nothing to do with their professional work."
