Man Utd Miss Out on Conor Gallagher as Ruben Amorim’s Side Fails in Late Loan Bid for Atletico Madrid Ace

Man United have missed out on Conor Gallagher after Ruben Amorim’s side reportedly failed in a last-minute loan attempt to sign the Atletico Madrid midfielder.

United are understood to have been looking to sign a new midfielder this summer but have failed to so with the transfer window now shut.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Amorim’s side made a late attempt to sign former Chelsea star Gallager, 25, from Atletico Madrid.

The 20-time English champions were keen on bringing Gallagher in on loan, but their offer was turned down at Atletico were only interested in selling permanently.

Brighton’s Carlos Baleba was their first choice but the South Coast club’s 3100 million plus asking price was deemed too expensive.
