Man Utd striker Hojlund completes Napoli medical; announcement due

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is in Naples today to undergo his medical.

The Holland international is set to join the Azzurri on-loan for the season with an option to buy.

TMW says Hojlund has just completed his medical at Villa Stuart today with an announcement due.

Hojlund will arrive as cover for injured centre-forward Romelu Lukaku.

Napoli will pay €6m in terms of a loan fee plus €44m should they trigger a permanent option.

After victory over Cagliari on Saturday, Napoli coach Antonio Conte said: "Hojlund should also arrive as a replacement for Lukaku. We're trying to do things the right way, knowing that we're completing a squad that wasn't there last year to compete in the competitions we have this year."
