Como complete signing of Diego Carlos from Fenerbahce

Como have signed defender Diego Carlos from Fenerbahce on a one-season loan reportedly worth around €3 million, without an option to buy.

The 32-year-old Brazilian joined Fenerbahce from Aston Villa in January for €11.5 million and will now experience Serie A for the first time with Cesc Fabregas’ side.

The move appears to have been finalised after weeks of reported interest from the Italian side. Meanwhile, Como officially said farewell to club legend Alessandro Gabrielloni, who has joined Juve Stabia on loan.0

Gabrielloni had been with Como from Serie C to the top flight and recently had a statue unveiled at the Stadio Sinigaglia.0

The club also strengthened their squad by bringing in goalkeeper Nikola Cavlina from Dinamo Zagreb on loan, this time with an option to buy.
