Tottenham want two new signings before transfer deadline as they take aim at Manchester City's Savinho interest and Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers.

Spurs missed out on Eberechi Eze to North London rivals Arsenal last week in what was a crushing blow for manager Thomas Frank who has turned his attention to Rogers and Savinho who could bolster his side’s attack.0

City are expected to only sanction a transfer for Savinho if they first sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid however and with just 6 days left of the summer transfer window remaining it is looking very unlikely that the deal for the Brazilian international will happen.0

More bad new for Tottenham fans is that a move for Rogers likely won’t come this window and instead will either come in January or next summer when his price tag will be much lower. A deal for Rogers would push close to the 3100M and Villa are unlikely to let him leave this late in the window.0

The Daily Mail reports that Savinho is thought to be keen to organise a move that in order to become a regular first-team starter in the Premier League ahead of next year's World Cup. He will not get the game time necessary under manager Pep Guardiola who does not seem to value him as highly as Frank.0

Spurs have made a perfect start in the Premier League, beating Burnley and Manchester City in their opening two games of the 2025/26 campaign. The additions of Rogers and Savinho would help Frank challenge for Europe if not the title and the next few days will be interesting for him and his side.0
