Tottenham submit improved €70m Paz transfer bid

According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs saw their second transfer bid for Nico Paz rejected on Sunday evening. The Premier League club's initial bid worth €40 million (£34.6m) was also knocked back by Como, who are determined to keep hold of the Argentine midfielder for at least one more season.

The report adds that Paz wants to stay at Como this season, but sees his long-term future at his boyhood club Real Madrid. Los Blancos inserted a clause in the deal for Paz to join Como last year that would have allowed them to match any offer that came the Italian club's way this summer. The Spanish giants also have a €10m buy-back clause on Paz that becomes active in 2026, which they are planning to trigger before compensating Como further in the future.

Tudor opens up on Vlahovic's future at Juventus

Juventus manager Igor Tudor has opened up on star striker Dusan Vlahovic's future at the club amid strong interest from Serie A rivals AC Milan.

Speaking to reporters, the Juve boss said: "Vlahovic is focused… he's a Juve player, let's see what happens during the week, the final week of the transfer window."

McTominay calls Hojlund to convince ex-Man Utd team-mate to join Napoli

Scott McTominay, who made 34 appearances alongside Rasmus Hojlund during their time together at Old Trafford, is doing all he can to convince the striker to move to the Serie A champions, according to Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport. The report claims that United could be open to a €5 million loan deal with an obligation to buy for an additional €40 million (£35m/$47m).

Leeds closing in on signing James Justin from Leicester

According to Sky Sports, Leeds United have agreed on a deal with Leicester City to sign English full-back James Justin this summer. Leeds have agreed to pay £8m plus £2m in add-ons for the defender.

Fabregas opens up on Spurs linked Nico Paz

Cesc Fabregas broke his silence on Tottenham Hotspur-linked Nico Paz's future after the player starred in the team's 2-0 win over Lazio on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters after the match, the Como manager said: "I'm very calm and relaxed, Nico is very happy here at Como. He's a top, top player."

According to the Daily Star, Manchester City could rival Liverpool in the transfer race for Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi if they manage to sell Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake by this week. Galatasaray have shown interest in Akanji, while Ake has attracted interest from David Moyes' Everton.

Hojlund to AC Milan back on as Boniface transfer falls through

According to Fabrizio Romano, Boniface will head back to Germany after failing to pass his medical AC Milan. The Italian club had agreed to sign the Nigeria international for a €5 million (£4.3m/$5.8m) loan fee and a €24m buy clause, but the deal is now off the table.

Boniface's failed transfer to San Siro could give fresh hope to out-of-favour United striker Rasmus Hojlund, who has also been strongly linked with a move to AC Milan. Hojlund, who is part of Ruben Amorim's 'bomb squad', is being tipped to leave Old Trafford before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Real awaiting Arsenal, Liverpool & Man City bids for Rodrygo

Rodrygo is being linked with a big-money move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after seeing his playing time reduced by new manager Xabi Alonso.

According to Marca, while Real are not believed to be actively looking to sell Rodrygo, the club are preparing to receive late bids from Arsenal, Liverpool and City ahead of the Premier League transfer window closing on September 1.
