Tottenham Table Improved Bid for Man City Winger Savinho After Eberechi Eze Snub

Tottenham have reportedly readied an improved bid for Manchester City winger Savinho after missing out on Eberechi Eze to arch-rivals Arsenal.

Thomas Frank’s side remain keen on signing new forward this summer following James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski’s injuries.

Spurs had stolen a march on Eze, but Arsenal came in to hijack the deal and the England international is now set to join for a reported fee of 367.5 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are now working to sign Man City winger Savinho, 21, having already had a bid turned down.

It’s understood that Spurs are reading a €70m bid for the winger after the two clubs face off at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday (August 23).

Pep Guardiola is said to be keen on keeping the Brazilian at the club but Spurs are adamant they will give it one more try.
