Arsenal are eyeing a shock move for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers following Kai Havertz's knee injury. The German forward was notably absent from an open training session on Wednesday morning and is now set for another period on the sidelines after picking up a fresh knock. With Havertz out of action, the Gunners now have only one recognised forward in Viktor Gyokeres.

According to The Sun, Arsenal will head back to the transfer market in search of an attacking player after Havertz picked up a knee injury this week. The report adds that the Gunners are eyeing a sensational swoop for Aston Villa star Rogers, who won the PFA Young Player of the Year for the 2024-25 campaign.

Rogers is a player who can play in multiple roles in the attack and appears to perfectly suit Mikel Arteta's system. Arteta reportedly personally congratulated the 23-year-old for winning his prize.
