Arsenal defender has played his last game for the club as he prepares to leave this summer

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is a target for AC Milan and Porto this summer as the club prepare to let him leave.

The Poland international was left out of the Gunners squad that narrowly beat Manchester United 1-0 thanks to a Riccardo Calafiori set piece finish at Old Trafford on Sunday. Kiwior is nearing the peak of his career, having turned 25 in February, and is yet to establish a solid spot in the Arsenal side under manager Mikel Arteta.0

Now, as reported by Standard Sport he is AC Milan and Porto are understood to both be interested in signing the centre-back who could see either side as an escape route to regular football where he can play week in week out rather than sporadically off the bench.0

William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Cristhian Mosquera all sit ahead of Kiwior in Arteta’s plans and he is unlikely to feature much for the Gunners unless there is a serious injury to two of the trio. Kiwior has started just 26 Premier League games since his arrival in England 36 months ago which is a poor run of games for the talented defender.0

Everton are also said to be interested in the young fullback but do already have the likes of James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Jake O'Brien in their ranks at present who would play ahead of him which only boosts a move abroad. Tranfer guru Fabrizio Romano also commented on his future, stating that a move to Porto would not be an easy deal.

"FC Porto remain interested in Jakub Kiwior after Arsenal already turned down a bid in July.

"He’s always high on Porto list for new CB but Arsenal value Kiwior as important player, not an easy deal."
