Chelsea Open to Loaning Out Raheem Sterling Again After Arsenal Struggles
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to send Raheem Sterling out on loan once more with permanent transfer options dwindling, following the winger’s underwhelming stint at Arsenal.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are increasingly willing to let the 30-year-old leave on loan again following his disappointing spell at Arsenal last season.
It’s understood that Chelsea would prefer to find a permanent home for Sterling, but no clubs have come forward as an option.
Sterling struggled to establish himself under Mikel Arteta in 2024-25, scoring just one goal and providing five assists in his 28 appearances across all competitions.
Fulham have been linked with a move for the England international as Chelsea step up their mission of selling or loaning up to eight players.
Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, and potentially Tyrique George and Aaron Anselmino could all leave in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.
