Man Utd winger Sancho stalling Roma move

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho must accept a drastic pay-cut to complete a move to AS Roma.

United and Roma have reached agreement over a fee for the England international. However, local media sources say the move is stalling due to Sancho's reluctance to accept Roma's current contract offer.

United have accepted an offer of €23m from Roma for Sancho.

But the winger's 3250,000-a-week United wages is deemed too rich by Roma's board. However, they're attempting to find a compromise by offering Sancho a longer, five-year contract in order to spread the wages out over a longer period.

Sancho is now weighing up whether to accept the proposal or look elsewhere, knowing former club Borussia Dortmund remain keen.
