Xavi Simons has rejected Bayern Munich and Manchester City's interest as the Dutch midfielder only has his eyes on a move to Chelsea this summer. Bayern considered Simons as a perfect replacement for Kingsley Coman, who has joined Al-Nassr, while Manchester City are looking for attacking cover in case Savinho joins Tottenham. WHAT HAPPENED?

According to ESPN, the Blues are preparing a bid worth £60 million ($81m) to sign Simons from RB Leipzig this transfer window. The Netherlands international has already made up his mind that he only wants a move to Stamford Bridge this summer, despite strong interest from Bayern and City.

Bayern were looking to sign Simons as a replacement for Coman, who signed for Al-Nassr in this window, but Fabrizio Romano claims that he has already rejected the German champions' interest. City, on the other hand, are more focused on signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid, if Savinho's move to Tottenham materialises.
