Alexander Isak goes on STRIKE! Forward Refuses to Play Newcastle Opener as Liverpool Linger

Newcastle striker Alexander Isak has reportedly decided to go on strike and refuses to feature in the club's Premier League opener against Aston Villa

Several reports have suggested that the 25-year-old is ‘adamant’ he will never play for Newcastle again as he pushes for a move to the Premier League champions.

Liverpool are understood to have had a 3120 million bid turned down by Eddie Howe’s side, who continue to hold out for 3150m.

According to the Daily Mail, Isak has no intention of walking out on to the pitch for their 2025-26 campaign opener at Villa Park on Saturday (August 16).

It remains to be seen whether Arne Slot’s side will make another offer for Isak, having already bolstered their attacking line-up significantly.
