Man City Wonderkid Sverre Halseth Nypan Set For Championship Loan With Middlesbrough

Manchester City’s highly rated youngster Sverre Halseth Nypan is reportedly set to join Championship side Middlesbrough on loan.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder made the move from Norwegian side Rosenborg to Man City earlier in the summer.

Pep Guardiola’s side beat Premier League rivals Arsenal and Aston Villa to Nypan’s signature for a reported fee of 312.5 million.

Now, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Nypan is set to join Championship side Middlesbrough on loan for the 2025-26 season.

It’s understood Nypan was keen on leaving the club temporarily in order to gain further first-team experience in English football.
