Former Premier League star Andy Carroll has called it quits with celebrity make-up artist Lou Teasdale after a string of blazing rows, pals say.
The 36-year-old former QPR frontman, who is now playing for non-league Dagenham & Redbridge, ended the year-long relationship this week, fed up with Lou's glitzy influencer lifestyle, according to sources close to the pair.
Carroll, once a £35million striker for Liverpool and Newcastle, has scrubbed all traces of Lou, 41, from his social media, signalling a clean break. "Andy got sick of Lou's demands and her constant posting online," a friend told The Sun. "He's not into the influencer scene and hates posing for loved-up snaps.
"He just wants to focus on football and his kids."
The split comes just eight weeks after Carroll was quizzed by police over two boozy bust-ups with Lou during a holiday in Mykonos.
The first row at a beachside restaurant earned him a warning, while a second clash at their hotel landed him in a police station, though no further action was taken.
Despite patching things up and celebrating their one-year anniversary at Glastonbury's swanky £38,000 pop-up hotel, cracks in their relationship clearly remained.
The ex-England star and father-of-five started dating Lou shortly after his 2024 split from TOWIE star Billi Mucklow, with whom he shares three children.
He also has two kids from a prior relationship. The couple went public when Carroll signed for Dagenham & Redbridge in July, posing together at the announcement.
But mates of the former West Ham man say tensions flared as Lou's keenness for social media posting often clashed with Carroll's desire for a simpler life.
"Andy's had enough of the drama," a mate said. "He's back in the UK, focusing on his kids and football.
Money and fame don't matter to him anymore. He just loves kicking a ball about."
Carroll, who earned £1,190 a month at French club Bordeaux before returning to England, signed a three-year deal with Dagenham, turning down higher-league offers.
Meanwhile, Carroll's Dagenham debut was delayed by injury, adding to his rocky start back in the UK. As he navigates single life, the striker seems keen to keep things low-key, leaving the influencer world behind.
Andyy Carroll's representatives have been contacted for comment.
