Haaland in mix as Man City agree contract terms with Donnarumma's camp
Manchester City have moved quickly after Gigio Donnarumma announced his planned departure from PSG yesterday.
With less than a year to run on his current deal, talks over a new contract have long broken down.
This week, Donnarumma has been left at home in Paris as PSG prepare for tonight's Super Cup against Tottenham. New signing Lucas Chevalier has already been earmarked by coach Luis Enrique as the Italian's replacement.
L'Equipe says a move to England is the most likely option for Donnarumma and City have already taken decisive action.
With Manchester United and Chelsea also keen, City have now struck contract terms with Donnarumma via his agents. Interestingly, the Italian shares the same representatives as City star Erling Haaland.
City are now readying a bid for PSG's consideration, with the European champions said to be seeking €40m upfront plus a further €15m in bonuses.
City's move is set to hasten Ederson's departure for Galatasaray, which are in advanced talks over a deal worth €3-5m.
