Arsenal make surprise enquiry for wantaway Atalanta striker Lookman
Arsenal have made an enquiry after wantaway Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman.
The Nigeria international has slapped in a public transfer demand over the past week after seeing a move to Inter Milan blocked by La Dea management.
Inter remain in contact and are attempting to strike terms with Atalanta.
In the meantime, L'Eco di Bergamo says Arsenal have made an approach to sound out Atalanta about the situation.
Despite the arrival of centre-forward Viktor Gyokeres, former Fulham attacker Lookman is also interesting the Gunners, with his versatility attractive to manager Mikel Arteta.
