Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has paid a heartfelt tribute to his former Tottenham teammate Son Heung-min following the latter’s move to Los Angeles FC.

Just days after announcing his departure from Tottenham, 33-year-old signed with LAFC, bringing an end to a decade-long spell at the North London club.0

Now, the English international has praised the South Korean star, highlighting both his qualities as a player and his character off the pitch.

"Massive congratulations to him and his career at Tottenham. First and foremost, (he is) a great person,” Kane told reporters.

“I've got to know him really well as a friend, and just how humble he is and how good a guy he is. I think as a player, you know, we had one of the best partnerships in Premier League history. We just had that connection that we loved."
